things have gone haywire

SINCE HIS PASSING

We greet each other no more,

I used to love her,

In my case,

There is no love lost,

Her jealous boyfriend confuse us,

I heared her crying the other day,

I was hanging my laundry—

On  the washing line.

She must be stressed,

I do not carry a record of wrongs.

Her dead father was a man of integrity.

Since his passing,

Things have gone haywire in his house.

Are beginning to envy their neighbours,

I love her and if I had my way,

I would ask to marry her.

I  do not want to meddle in her affairs.
